The Greenwich Catholic Fellowship for the Disabled takes sick and disabled adults and children to Lourdes every year. It costs on average £700 per pilgrim to do this and we raise funds for this throughout the year by holding Boot/Table sales in parishes in the Greenwich Deanery and running Race nights, Quiz nights, dances and every few years we hold a Grand Draw in the autumn.
Last year we have raised £13,900 with all our functions and donations, one of which was a lovely donation from our parish for £535. This came from our coffee mornings after 10am Mass on Sunday, so a huge thank you to all who come along and support the coffee mornings. We also have a Mass once a month in different parishes in the Greenwich Deanery on a Sunday at 3pm to which everyone is welcome.
If you would like to join us or help in any way we are always looking for volunteers.
